Plitvice Waterfalls, Croatia
Croatia’s most popular and spectacular waterfalls are found in the Plitvice Lakes National Park. There are about 90 stunning waterfalls that connect 16 lakes, with the highest waterfall, Great Waterfall or Veliki Slap, standing 78 meters high. Situated in in serene surroundings near Novakovica Lake, Sastavci Slap is another beautiful waterfall in the park that you should consider visiting.


Veil Waterfalls, Hungary
The list of most stunning natural treasures of Hungary wouldn’t be complete without Veil Waterfalls – the country’s most beautiful attraction. The karst water drops down 17 meters on 18 steps, creating magnificent rimstone bars. Once the water gathers on the surface, the lime begins to accumulate and precipitate, which creates a stepped structure. The Veil Waterfalls are worth visiting at the start of the spring season.
