OUR STORY - How did it all start?
IT ALL STARTED
IN SUMMER 2012
As a young woman - Fani Ntinoudi – visited Samothraki (a Greek island) for a summer get-away. From the dazzling beach, and the refreshingly cold waters at the waterfalls to the amazing people that welcomed her there, it didn't take long for Fani to fall in love with this laid-back way of life.
ONE DAY
AFTER WATERFALLS...
On her way back from swimming at the waterfalls one day, Fani came across a craftsman, whose beautiful macramé jewelry had captured the essence of the pure and simplistic beauty of Samothraki. Fani asked from that the craftsman to be her tutor, he was to show her how to make jewelry. And that’s when the fun really began...
BACK IN HOME

immediately set upon making jewelry for an entire year and proceeded to showcase her work which very quickly sold out completely. And then it hit her: These pieces were more than just jewelry. They were the vessel that would take her on an exciting journey, she was to lead a nomadic life, making ethnic jewelry, using her creativity and imagination (fantasia) to give birth to Ethnasia. Translating Ethnasia is more than just a word. It’s a lifestyle. One that’s all about enjoying life’s little pleasures, slowing things down and living life to the fullest.
TO SPREAD THE
"ETHNASIA" SPIRIT
While on her mission of spreading the spirit of ETHNASIA around the world, Fani teamed up with Harris Tokamanis in creating handcrafted ethnic collections, each one as unique as the person wearing it. What started out as selling just a few pieces of jewelry a week has grown into a worldwide network with countless of pieces of jewelry that are now treasured, and worn proudly by our friends all over the globe.

We strive to promote ethnic art worldwide and giving back has always been at the very core of what we do, which is exactly why we create a Charity Collection. We’re always trying to do more and to offer back as much as we can from the support and love that we receive from our fans and customers and that is why we are constantly on the lookout for more charities that can benefit from Ethnasia’s support.
